Pithoragarh Fort is an 18th-century fort constructed by the Gorkhas in Uttarakhand’s former Almora district. It is one of the best historical places in Uttarakhand. Pithoragarh, a small hill station in the Kumaon hills, is the location. Pithoragarh is a Nepalese-Tibetan town on the Nepal-Tibet border. This little town, situated at 1600 feet above sea level, is a breath of fresh air and resembles Kashmir. As a result, it’s also known as Uttarakhand’s Kashmir or Little Kashmir.
