1) Nutritional Deficiencies
The most common nutritional deficiencies associated with migraine symptoms are vitamins A, B2, B3, and magnesium. Inadequate levels of these nutrients are also associated with other symptoms such as dry eyes, light sensitivity, visual disturbances (such as shimmering or bright spots), ringing in ears and joint pain. If you’re struggling with frequent headaches and you have not been able to determine a specific cause (like alcohol or stress), then it’s a good idea to visit your doctor for an evaluation. Your doctor will likely perform a few blood tests to see if you have any known nutrient deficiencies. If so, they can prescribe supplements that may help alleviate some of your symptoms.

This is a fairly common cause of migraines and can be alleviated by simply drinking more water. Be sure to drink at least eight glasses of water each day. If you want or need more caffeine in your diet, consider green tea as an alternative – it contains less caffeine than other teas and is known for its ability to reduce headaches.
