The Abhaneri Stepwells, is a popular historical site in Rajasthan because of their proximity to the capital city of Jaipur. Its massive infrastructure was built to store rainwater in order to suit the needs of the locals. 

This step well is roughly 20 metres deep with 13 levels, making it one of India’s deepest step wells. Apart from its wonderful construction, the beautiful tale behind the establishment of this step well is what draws visitors the most to this place.
