1) Hawa Mahal

Built by Sawai Pratap Singh, Maharaja of Jaipur (r. 1728-1750), Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, is a five-story marble palace built to protect royal women from prying eyes and one of the best places in Jaipur which attracts lakhs of tourists. Hawa Mahal is situated in the centre of a large complex that houses several other palaces, including Chandra Mahal, Daulat Khana and Shish Mahal.

2) City Palace

City Palace is one of the most famous and best places in Jaipur. The palace was built between 1727 and 1734. In 2007, it was selected as one of The Seven Wonders of Rajasthan. There are many things to do at City Palace. The entrance fee is 50 Rupees per person, and a guide is available for 400 Rupees per hour which will tell you about everything you need to know about City Palace.

3) Albert Hall Museum

With more than two centuries of history, Albert Hall Museum is one of those must-visit places in Jaipur. Established by Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II and his son Maharaja Sir Jai Singh, it was renamed after Prince Albert. It stands on a square island formed by three pools with fountains and cascades on all sides. The artistic interiors add to its architectural magnificence.

4) Amber Fort

One of Jaipur’s most popular attractions, Amber Fort, is situated atop a hill at Amber town and was built by King Man Singh between 1601-1614. It consists of palaces and cenotaphs constructed on a par with contemporary royal residences, featuring murals and decorative tile work. Overlooking City Palace and Albert Hall Museum are close to Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Nahargarh Fort.

5) Birla Mandir

Birla Mandir (or Birla Temple) is one of the best places to visit in Jaipur. It’s situated on a 30-acre land; it has an attractive white marble structure with seven majestic cupolas at its apex. On each side of the Mandir are idols of Goddess Saraswati on one side and Lord Ganesh on the other side. The beauty and grandeur of Mandir will take your breath away.
