PM Modi to attend second Indo-Nordic summit in Denmark

The Indian Prime Minister’s three-day visit to Europe will be completed today. Today, the Prime Minister will attend the 2nd Indo-Nordic Summit in Denmark. This summit also includes Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, in addition to Denmark. For India, the Nordic countries are crucial partners in the areas of sustainability, renewable energy, digitization, and innovation.

The forum will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark. They will cover subjects like economic recovery, climate change, innovation, technology, renewable energy, and Indo-Nordic collaboration in the Arctic. PM Modi will also meet with the leaders of state from Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The summit’s first meeting was held in Sweden in 2018.

PM to visit France and discuss global issues with the Macron 

PM Modi will then travel to Paris to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron. Macron was recently re-elected president of France. Both these leaders will also discuss how to take the Indo-French Strategic Partnership to the next level.

Modi and Macron will discuss global challenges as well as bilateral collaboration during their meeting. According to the PMO on social media, PM Modi’s visit comes at a time when Europe is confronted with numerous challenges.

PM Modi’s ‘Chalo India’ Slogan

PM Modi met with Danish Prime Minister Fredriksson and key Indian-Danish business leaders yesterday. Following that, PM Modi went to the Bella Center to address the Indian community. Here, he extended his gratitude to all Indians and gave the people the slogan “Chalo India.”

PM said “This is something I’m saying to all Indians around the world. You decide that each of you will send at least five non-Indian families to India as tourists at least once a year.”
