ISKCON Temple, Bangalore

For a spiritual experience, head over to ISKCON Temple. The great thing about visiting any temple is that there is always an interesting story behind every single one of them. This particular temple was established by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. If you aren’t aware of who he is, then allow me to introduce him: He’s responsible for introducing Hinduism (the ancient religion) into Western society and spreading it across three continents; India, Africa, and North America. Even if you’re not a big fan of history, a visit to Sankey Tank is worth it. The structure stands tall even today, surrounded by lush greenery. You can walk around it or rent an ornate wooden boat from a nearby vendor for ₹5 (unless you bring your own). Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, Sankey Tank hosts several cultural activities on special occasions like poetry recitals and music concerts.
