3)Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park -Pune, Maharashtra
Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park-Pune inaugurated in 1999 and since then it has become a favorite spot among tourists. It is home to nearly 2,000 animals of 170 species. The park has lion safari, Himalayan bear safari and elephant rides for visitors. A variety of programs are also organised here every month which includes snakes show, bird watching and animal shows.

Mysore Zoo, located near Mysore Palace, is a nice example of how a zoo can be a combination of other facilities. It is a zoological park located at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It has an amazing collection of animals with more species. Some of these include Tigers, Lions, Hippopotamus and Chimpanzees. The Arignar Anna Zoological Park (popularly known as Vandalur Zoo) is a popular zoo located in Chennai. This zoological park contains more than 500 species of animals and it’s one of Asia’s largest zoological parks. Popular among families, Vandalur Zoo is home to several endangered animal species like Bengal tigers, black panthers, leopards, Asiatic lions and Malabar squirrels.
