As of December 2016, it ranked third overall in terms of revenue generation and fourth regarding annual revenue generation for 2016 as well as second highest paid executives for 2015 among all businesses worldwide by Forbes magazine
Wipro is one of India’s oldest and largest private sector technology services companies. The company employs about 160,000 people across 42 countries. It offers consulting, systems integration, application development & maintenance (AD&M), business process management (BPM) services and information technology outsourcing (ITO). Wipro is headed by Azim Premji who is listed among Asia’s richest men in 2015 with a net worth of $16.8 billion. Wipro has its headquarters in Bengaluru, Karnataka and Delhi NCR region; other major offices are located at Mumbai and Pune.

HCL ranks number 15 on Forbes’ 2015 list of India’s most powerful companies with a revenue of $5 billion. It ranked at number 57 on Forbes Global 2000 List for 2015.
