1) Infosys

Infosys is one of India’s largest and one of the most famous IT companies in India. It provides business consulting, outsourcing services, and technical support for software development to major global clients across numerous industries. The company was founded by seven men, including Nandan Nilekani, who all came together with a shared dream of creating something extraordinary out of India’s blooming information technology sector. Since then, Infosys has grown exponentially—both as a company and as an industry—while staying true to its roots. These days, some 70% of Fortune 500 companies count on Infosys as their preferred service provider for complex projects requiring access to top-notch IT talent.

The Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is an Indian multinational information technology (IT) services, business solutions and consulting company. It is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The company has been ranked first among top ten IT companies in India by revenue. TCS is one of the largest Indian firms by market capitalization on Indian stock exchanges. It has a market capitalization of $104 billion as of 26 February 2016. As of December 2016, it  ranked third overall in terms of revenue generation and fourth regarding annual revenue generation for 2016 as well as second highest paid executives for 2015 among all businesses worldwide by Forbes magazine

3) Wipro

Wipro is one of India’s oldest and largest private sector technology services companies. The company employs about 160,000 people across 42 countries. It offers consulting, systems integration, application development & maintenance (AD&M), business process management (BPM) services and information technology outsourcing (ITO). Wipro is headed by Azim Premji who is listed among Asia’s richest men in 2015 with a net worth of $16.8 billion. Wipro has its headquarters in Bengaluru, Karnataka and Delhi NCR region; other major offices are located at Mumbai and Pune.

HCL Technologies is an Indian multinational information technology service, consulting and business solutions corporation . The company provides offshore software development services, and business consulting services to global Fortune 500 corporations across different industry verticals and employs over 85,000 people. HCL ranks number 15 on Forbes’ 2015 list of India’s most powerful companies with a revenue of $5 billion. It ranked at number 57 on Forbes Global 2000 List for 2015. In 2014, HCL  ranked 43rd among Asian Companies to Dominate 2014 by Business Today magazine’s annual survey.

5) Tech Mahindra

Tech Mahindra is an Indian multinational provider of information technology, networking technology solutions and Business Process Outsourcing to enterprise customers worldwide. The company has a workforce of over 83,000 employees. It also has over 250 delivery centers across 46 countries. Headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Tech Mahindra  listed on NASDAQ and Bombay Stock Exchange under ticker symbol: TECH. In June 2015, Tech Mahindra opened its first development center outside India – in Pune. This facility employs 600 people with plans to hire up to 2000 people.

6) Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd

Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd (LTI) is an Indian business technology solutions, product engineering and outsourcing company. Headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, it has over 20 offices across 16 countries including US, UK, Middle East, Australia and Africa. It offers software products and solutions to large corporate clients as well as SMEs. It’s customer base is spread across various industry verticals such as banking & financial services (BFSI), retail & consumer goods (CPG), life sciences & healthcare (LSH), telecom & media sector. LTI’s revenue for FY 2015-16 was around $1 billion.

Zensar Technologies Limited is an Indian software and services firm that is publicly traded. The Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India both trade the company’s stock. Harsh Goenka, the company’s chairman, is a subsidiary of RPG Group. Zensar is a good firm with a lot of interesting projects and prospects. 9)Mphasis Ltd

Headquartered in Bangalore, Mphasis Ltd is a leading global enterprise software and consulting services company. It provides consulting, technology products and outsourcing services to clients across various sectors worldwide. It is one of India’s largest BPO companies by headcount with over 45,000 employees and growing. The company was established in 1980 as Microcomputer Enterprises by Subrata Mitra; it changed its name to Mphasis Corporation Limited in 1989 and then merged with HCL Technologies (HCL) in 2007 to become Mphasis Ltd.
